Women in the Olympics
12/8/2024
Did you know that in 1900, women competed in the Olympics for the very first time?
Only 22 women out of 997 athletes were allowed to participate, breaking barriers in sports like tennis, golf, and sailing. Charlotte Cooper became the first female Olympic champion, while Hélène de Pourtalès led her team to victory in sailing.
These courageous women faced immense social and cultural opposition but forever changed the world of sports.
Their strength, resilience, and determination inspire our first collection: Beyond Limits. This collection embodies their spirit, pushing past boundaries and celebrating the power of women in every field.
